Dr Andrew Lonergan completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland. He completed his anaesthetic fellowship specialising in advanced airway management at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Since then, Dr Lonergan has continued to work in both public and private hospitals on the Sunshine Coast. 

Andrew’s special interest areas include Regional Anaesthesia, Advanced Airway Management, Acute Pain Management, and anaesthesia for Orthopaedic, ENT, Obstetric and Major Abdominal surgery.

In addition, Andrew has a background in medical education, quality improvement, research and perioperative medicine. 

When not at work Andrew likes to head to the beach to surf, swim and paddle, and loves fishing and Australian Rules football.
