Dr Pease is a Specialist Anaesthetist, who completed her specialist training in Melbourne at St Vincent’s Hospital, followed by a specialty fellowship in Obstetric Anaesthesia at The Mercy for Women. She also undertook additional fellowship training at Eastern Health, Victoria and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. In 2023, she further broadened her clinical experience through a six-month observership at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV) in Lausanne, Switzerland, gaining valuable international insight into contemporary anaesthetic practice.

In addition to her private practice, Dr Pease holds a permanent position as a Consultant Anaesthetist at Sunshine Coast Health and is a Deputy Director of the Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, contributing to clinical leadership, service development, and the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Dr Pease’s primary areas of interest include obstetric and gynaecological anaesthesia and general surgery, however she enjoys a diverse mix of anaesthesia practise. She is committed to providing safe, patient-centred care across a broad range of surgical settings and has a strong focus on alleviating fear and anxiety relating to anaesthesia, surgery and medical procedures more generally.

When not at work, Dr Pease loves making the most of the beautiful surrounds of the Sunshine Coast. Favourite activities include weekend trail running, family bike rides and beach walks with the dog, chasing the sunrise whenever possible. She also loves spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes and cafe-hopping across the Coast. She is also a dedicated supporter of her three children and loves cheering them on in their many sporting and school pursuits.
