Dr Chris Van Leuvan is a Specialist Anaesthetist who has been providing anaesthetic care on the Sunshine Coast since 2019. He completed his training in Canberra, with additional sub-specialisation in trauma, working within the public hospital system and as part of a retrieval helicopter service delivering emergency medical care across the region.

Chris now provides anaesthesia across a broad range of specialties including General, Orthopaedic, Urological, Dental, ENT, Gynaecological, Obstetric and Paediatric procedures.

He understands that surgery can be a stressful experience and is committed to providing safe, calm, and personalised care to support patients throughout their surgical journey.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and tinkering on various projects.
