Dr Jane Chia is a Fellowship-trained Anaesthetist (FANZCA) with extensive experience across public and private hospitals in Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne and completed her Specialist Anaesthesia training in Queensland.

Dr Chia currently practices as a Visiting Medical Officer on the Sunshine Coast, providing anaesthetic care across a broad range of surgical specialties, with a particular interest in Perioperative Optimisation. She has extensive experience in Critical Care, Airway Management, Regional Anaesthesia, and Perioperative Pain Management. She remains actively engaged in continuing professional development through the ANZCA CPD program and is committed to delivering high-quality Perioperative care.

Outside of work, Dr Chia enjoys spending time with her children and exploring the outdoors through hiking, travel, and camping with family and friends. She has recently taken up playing mahjong to keep her mind and wits sharp. She values maintaining balance between a busy professional and family life and is known for her warm personality and humour.
