Anaesthesia for emergencies
A number of private hospitals provide an after hours service for emergency procedures. The Sunshine Coast Anaesthetic Group provides an after hours service for the surgeons we work with.
If you require an after hours procedure, your surgeon will communicate with the anaesthetist on call to arrange an appropriate time for your procedure to occur.
Our anaesthetist on call also provides anaesthesia for obstetric emergencies (ie caesarean section) and pain relief in labour.
A member from our group is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
